We capture and combust biogas from landfills by flaring it or converting it into dispatchable, renewable energy. This reduces the greenhouse gas emissions of that gas by 28 times. For some of our projects, additional abatement is enabled by Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCUs) which make these smaller and/or regional projects commercially viable.
