LGI adding more renewable energy to the local Toowoomba grid

This week we received two new one megawatt generators at our Eagle Farm HQ – both of which will add more reliable power into the local Queensland power grid. One is already in Toowoomba being installed!!

We’re currently upgrading our Toowoomba biogas from landfill flaring project to become a biogas to power generation project. It’ll add dispatchable and renewable energy to the area, right where there’s demand. It will also supply renewable power to the Council.

Turning biogas from landfills into distributed, dispatchable renewable power when and where it is needed – that’s how LGI is building a greener and more sustainable future.
