Gas extraction infrastructure powering ahead in Western Sydney

A new flare, 17 gas wells, and critical gas extraction infrastructure have been installed at Eastern Creek Landfill in Western Sydney.

The upgrades are part of an $18.5 million deal between LGI Limited (LGI) and Bingo Industries, which will see biogas extracted from the landfill site converted into renewable electricity via a four-megawatt renewable power station.
