WIN News features LGI’s first power station in Toowoomba

Did you catch our segment on WIN News recently? 

It focused on LGI’s most recently established renewable energy station in Toowoomba, which collects gas emissions from the area’s Waste Management Centre. 

In a first for Queensland, it converts the gas into electricity that powers 70% of the local council’s most demanding energy user: the Wetalla Water Reclamation Facility.

“We’re generating renewable energy, which reduces the grid intensity of this facility and the cost of energy for the facility as well” – Adam Bloomer, CEO of LGI Limited.
