Project’s emission reductions have effectively taken 5000 cars off the road
After less than a year of operation, the new biogas capture and abatement facility at the Bathurst Waste Management Centre has proven it was well worth the investment.
The equipment has exceeded expectations, having already captured 2.47 million m3 of biogas and reduce (CO2e) emissions by 23,000 tonnes since early 2024.
