LGI Win Big at the IPWEA 2025 Australasia Excellence Awards

It was a privilege to attend the IPWEA 2025 Australasia Excellence Awards and be around so many amazing and innovative operators within the world of public works engineering.

Our landfill gas to renewable hybrid project at the City of Moreton Bay‘s Bunya Waste Management Facility, which links a utility scale battery to the renewable energy generator, secured two awards, including Excellence in Project Innovation.

Additionally, our landfill gas to renewable energy project which powers the Toowoomba Regional Council‘s Wetalla Wastewater Treatment Plant, was recognised for its environmental impact, winning the Excellence in Environment & Sustainability Award.
