Bathurst Regional Council’s partnership yields positive results

Phase one of a carbon-cutting partnership between LGI Limited (LGI) and Bathurst Regional Council is complete.

LGI recovers biogas from landfill which reduces methane emissions and helps councils such as Bathurst Regional Council to achieve their emissions reduction targets.

The landfill gas management system designed, installed and commissioned at Bathurst Waste Management Centre on Mount Panorama, New South Wales in early 2024, has shown promising results in the first year.
